Automated Phone Log Version History

Attention Users:  When installing an upgrade, you need to install it from the same computer that you installed the original system from.  If you're unable to do this, contact support for a special install file.

Enhancements: 

- This came because of a suggestion from a new user.  Added the ability to print a Phone Message.  Here's what it looks like ...

If you choose "Preview" instead of Print, on the Preview Toolbar (image below), you can email a PDF file, save as PDF file or a number of other print options.  Your Print Options and Email Options are chosen from pull-down field which is the last two icons on the Preview Toolbar shown here ...

Maybe you need to email a previous phone message to someone.  No problem ... just go to the Phone List window, find your phone message and click the Print Record button to print the tagged phone message.  This is a nice feature.  Thank you for suggesting it, Robin.

Bug Fixes: 

- In 1.1 update it dropped pulling in the CC email address into the email.  Fixed here.

Enhancements:  (Enhancements are generally a result of requests and feedback from our users) These enhancements I took upon myself to add.

- Added a Save Button below the cc Email Address field.  That way you don't have to remember to hit F9 to save after adding, changing or deleting the cc Email Address.

- On the Phone Message Window, added a "Show All" button so you can see all phone messages.  If you're in a filter such as "Today's Calls", this will allow you to see all.

- Cleaned up the Phone Message More.  Moved "New Msg" and "New Window" to the top.

- Put a sort-order on Category report so it groups properly without having to do a Query by Form Sort.

- When you exit the Message List window, if you have any emails that haven't been sent the Emails Not Sent window automatically opens up where you can email the messages.

- When you click on "New Msg", if the message has not been sent a window pops up informing you that the message hasn't been sent giving you the option to send it or to cancel to create a new message.  If you click Send, it will send the email and then open up a new message window ready for you to start entering the information.  This is still another safety measure to make sure the message gets sent to the recipient.

- Added a button to see today's messages in the browse window.
